On the afternoon of January 27th, the donation signing ceremony of Southeast University-Daikin (China) Investment Co., Ltd. Nanjing Branch (hereinafter referred to as Daikin Nanjing Branch) was held in the conference room of auditorium in Sipailou Campus. Zhang Hui, deputy general manager of Daikin Nanjing Branch, Huang Dawei, vice president of Southeast University and executive vice president of Southeast University Education Foundation, and relevant leaders and staff of Sipailou Management Committee, Party Committee of Architecture Department, Automation Department and Southeast University Education Foundation attended the ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by Rui Zhenhua.
In his speech, vice president Huang Dawei warmly welcomed the guests from Daikin Nanjing Branch and expressed his sincere respect and thanks to Daikin Nanjing Branch for their generous assistance. He also briefly introduced the basic information of the Asian Architectural Archive Center and other renovation projects of our school.
Zhang Hui, deputy general manager expressed his thanks for the invitation, he introduced the company philosophy of Daikin Investment CO., Ltd., its development process in China and its current personalized innovation in technology research and development, and expressed high recognition to the working achievement of Southeast University Asian Architectural Archive Center. He looks forward to developing together with SEU.
Then, Zhang Hui, deputy general manager and Huang Dawei, vice president signed the donation agreement on behalf of both sides. Daikin Nanjing Branch donated a set of Daikin central air conditioning system to be used in the Asian Architectural Archive Center located in Sipailou campus.
At the ceremony, Zhang Tong, dean of Architecture Department, also introduced the construction of the Asian Architectural Archive Center. Asia Architectural Archival Center is jointly promoted by Southeast University, Nanjing Municipal People's Government and Xuanwu District People's Government. It was officially inaugurated and established in 2019 at the Nanjing Innovative City Construction Promotion Conference, with the basic functions of relevant archive collection, high-end talent introduction, academic research and cultural exchange.
It is reported that Daikin Industrial Co., Ltd. is the only multinational corporation in the world integrated air conditioning, refrigerant and compressor research and development, production and sales in one. As a large multinational corporation, Daikin has actively undertaken its corporate responsibilities and made positive contributions to the social development of the regions where it operates through environmental education campaign, employment promotion of the disabled, and sponsorship of sports events.
