Donation Proposal
Dear alumni and caring people from society:
Southeast University (SEU) is a prestigious institution of higher learning renowned both at home and abroad. As one of the national key universities directly subordinate to the Ministry of Education of China and jointly established with Jiangsu Province, it is also listed as one of the universities involved in National “985 Project” “211 Project”. In 2017, SEU was ranked on the list of constructing “Class A first-rate world universities”.
Although Southeast University has made great progress in recent years, the shortage of funds has always been the bottleneck of its construction. The large number of alumni，the society and the public actively donated money and materials, contacted a wide range of resources and offered advice and suggestions. Southeast University is deeply appreciated.
Southeast University Education Foundation USA is committed to strengthening the contact and cooperation with overseas (especially in the United States) alumni, the society and the public, raising all kinds of social resources, building Southeast University into a world-class university with the distinctive Chinese characteristics, the quality of Southeast University and the satisfaction of the people as soon as possible, and making outstanding contributions to the realization of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and the development of human civilization.
The fund is used to support Southeast University in talents cultivation, academic research, faculty development, international development, campus construction etc. For the specific purpose of donation, the fund can be used according to the donor's wishes. The foundation has received great attention and support from alumni and friends. Some projects have been implemented and funded.

尊敬的广大校友和各界爱心人士：
东南大学是国家教育部直属并与江苏省共建的全国重点大学，是国家“985工程”和“211工程”重点建设大学之一，2017年入选世界一流大学建设A类高校名单。
尽管各项事业的发展取得了长足进步，但资金缺口始终是困扰学校建设的一大瓶颈。广大校友和各界爱心人士积极捐钱捐物、广泛联络、建言献策，东南大学深为感铭。
