Suzhou Alumni Association of Southeast University actively practices the motto of SEU supreme goodness. At the call of Zhang Weigong, president of the association and vice president Weng Weimin, some outstanding alumni spontaneously initiated the establishment of Suzhou Alumni Scholarship of Southeast University.
The scholarship is the first to be established by university alumni in Jiangsu Province spontaneously. It aims to give back to the alma mater, help the students in need and realize the love aid. Suzhou Alumni Scholarship of Southeast University belongs to Southeast University Education Foundation, which jointly serves the development of education in alma mater.
The Suzhou Alumni Scholarship was spontaneously prepared by representatives of outstanding alumni in Suzhou. The first batch of alumni supported includes Weng Weimin, Zhang Baiming, Mao Limin, Wang Yonghong, Sun Ping, Xu Jing, Bu Xianglin and Ju Zhengfeng, the donation totals 100000 RMB yuan. It is divided into two parts: the Suzhou Alumni Scholarship for studying and the Suzhou Alumni Scholarship for teaching. It supports the full-time postgraduate students with excellent comprehensive performance and the staff in SEU Suzhou Campus.
On the one hand, the establishment of Suzhou Alumni Scholarship is to support the development of education in Suzhou Campus, and on the other hand, it is also a positive interaction between Southeast University's talent training and social needs.
