At the same time, Southeast University Ruihuachunyu Grants are distributed by Southeast University Education Foundation in Jiulonghu campus. A total of 180 freshmen, whose families are in financial difficulties, received financial assistance, with a total amount of 450,000 yuan.
In the morning, WU Gang, vice president of Southeast University, and SHI Zhaorong, vice president of Jiangsu Ruihua Charity Foundation, presented Ruihuachunyu Grants to students, and communicated with the recipients cordially. In the afternoon, ZUO Wei, secretary of the Party Committee of Southeast University and chairman of Southeast University Education Foundation, took photos with the students and volunteers.
The students were moved and said that the grant was like a spring rain, which moistened their hearts and helped them to realize their dreams. They put their love and responsibility into action by serving as volunteers to help new students.
Jiangsu Ruihua Charity Foundation is jointly initiated and established by Jiangsu Ruihua Investment Holding Group Co., LTD and chairman Zhang Jianbin, with a registered capital of 1 billion yuan. It is the largest non-public foundation with original capital scale in Jiangsu Province. In June 2018, the foundation donated 15 million yuan to Southeast University to set up Ruihua Education Fund, which focuses on supporting impoverished students in Southeast University, and supports international communication, inspirational student societies, outstanding graduates selection, exchange students and other aspects.
